About the Course

Our beginner courses take place in our studio in Kilcock every Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM. The course for beginners is intended for people who do not have knowledge and skills in sewing with a machine or for people who would like to refresh or deepen their sewing skills and knowledge. The course lasts 3 hours and takes place in a group of a maximum of 6 people, so that the teacher has enough time for each student. The course is conducted by a qualified person with 25 years of experience as a seamstress, with extensive theoretical and practical knowledge on topics related to sewing.

What You Will Learn

During the course for beginners, you will learn the basic functions of a sewing machine. We will provide you with as much theoretical and practical knowledge as possible so that you can use your home sewing machine and the necessary sewing accessories without any problems. During the course, you will go through the first stage of your sewing adventure. If you like this stage and want to learn more, we invite you to the intermediate course, which takes place in our studio every second Thursday and Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Instructor

The course is conducted by Agnieszka, known locally as Agnes, who has 25 years of experience in designing and sewing garments. Agnes has completed a 5-year technical clothing school with the title “Technik Odzieży” and a 5-year pedagogical studies with a master’s degree. She has been living in Ireland for 12 years, working as a seamstress, and for the last 6 years, she has been running her own alterations shop in Kilcock, where the courses will be held.
