About the Course

Our intermediate themed sewing courses take place in our studio in Kilcock every Saturday and last 6 hours (2 PM – 8 PM) with a half-hour break during the course. Saturday thematic courses are intended only for people at an intermediate sewing level. This means that only people who know how to use a sewing machine and all the functions it has can take part. Unfortunately, our thematic sewing courses are not intended for beginners.

The thematic course on August 31, 2024, is focused on mastering the art of making and altering trousers. This course will provide you with a wealth of theoretical and practical knowledge about trousers. During this 6-hour course, you will learn how to design, sew, and alter trousers to fit your figure perfectly.

Instructor

The course is conducted by Agnieszka, known locally as Agnes, who has 25 years of experience in designing and sewing garments. Agnes has completed a 5-year technical clothing school with the title “Technik Odzieży” and a 5-year pedagogical studies with a master’s degree. She has been living in Ireland for 12 years, working as a seamstress, and for the last 6 years, she has been running her own alterations shop in Kilcock, where the courses will be held.
