Our Sunday Advanced Sewing Academy is designed for those who are comfortable using a sewing machine and know basic sewing techniques. This course introduces participants to a higher level of sewing skills. In addition to sewing on a machine, you will also learn how to use an overlocker.
This advanced academy combines dressmaking, pattern making, and clothing alterations. We especially welcome those who have already completed our Intermediate Sewing Course and would like to continue developing their skills.
After completing this course, each participant will have improved their sewing skills to the highest level and will create a custom-made garment with their own hands. You will also develop the ability to recognize different types of fabrics and choose the right materials for your projects.
We will teach you how to properly measure your figure, make a pattern, cut the fabric, and guide you through all stages of sewing your chosen garment.
This course is also suitable for people with unusual body shapes and store-bought clothes that do not fit well (for example, short people, people with large breasts, people with wide hips, etc.). You will learn how to alter clothes and how to properly adjust patterns if you are sewing from scratch.
Our Sunday Advanced Sewing Academy is perfect for people who do not have free time during the week and want to develop their skills and hobbies.
This course takes place on one selected Sunday each month and lasts for four months (four sessions, each 6 hours long). It is a great opportunity to invest in yourself and take your sewing skills to the next level.
Course hours: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM (including a 30-minute break)
Location: Our studio in Kilcock
All necessary tools and materials are provided.
Important: This course is not intended for beginners. It is for those who can already sew confidently on a sewing machine and want to advance their skills.
